Exclamation And So... It Begins... And COMPLETES!!!

*NOTE* New installation pics several posts down!

After suffering over 2 1/2 years of crappy-azz stock audio... All of my pieces have arrived...!!! My Two 10' Sub BOX will be here on Friday, and I will be having it painted to match my exterior.
I still need to decide on 'sound deadening material' (DynoMat Extreme is out of the question due to their price gauging!) I was going to go with this stuff from Loews & Home Depot, after hearing several people use it, like it, and it's very reasonable cost. But I'm also being told that it has a "low melting point" and out TX heat may cause problems.
At any rate, I anticipate the installion to be commence in the next couple of weeks. I am soooooooo ready for an Audio/Video setup with some thundering bass!!!

Stay Tuned.......

Tx you have picked out some nice product there. One thing is on the dynamat, it is worth the money man trust me. How much do they want for it anywho?
Also are you adding satellite radio or an ipod adapter to that setup???

Uhhhhhhm Thanks, I think. What do you mean by "However, there's such a thing as the 5700?"
If you are reffering to my head unit, then yes. It is Pioneers latest Mobile/Video in-dash unit. No need for a EQ for my setup.

No, it was a good compliment txstyle
Yes, it's regarding the HU.
Last time I heard before the avic n1, now n2 (regarding flip-up) was the 7500. I just googled and there is a 5700, I just didn't know

Heres my old premier dsp eq:

Question

Okay..... I need "sound deadening" suggestions guys.

I want good dampening without all the excessive weight, but I'm not sure about liquid or paintable isulation...

That would be these: eDi 6500s Components

And the large box at the bottom would be two of these: 11Ov.2 Subwoofer Dual 4

Theres something for roofing called peel&seal. Its the exact same thing as dynamat extreme except doesnt say dynamat on the foil and is a 1/3 of the price . Do a search on it. ITs comes in rolls. Look on the IASCA or SPL forums thats what they have been using as well.

This is for your Z, right? Think I saw your post on My350Z as well? Did you get the sub box that fits under the rear arch? Or some other configuration?

Pics when you're done bro!

LOL! I know what you mean by "hard to resist". Back when I had my GS, it had a 10" JL and it hit pretty damn hard. I expect this setup to literally POUND with over twice the power and reverbing off the hatchback.

These speakers are so well crafted! And what really sold me was their warranty... like 2 or 3 yrs provided you don't overload them. The box is foking sweet! My boy picked it up yesterday to finish out in my exterior Chrome Silver paint.
You know I'll post up the finished install.

DAMNIT!!!

Just when I thought I was 100% ready to begin install, now that my BOX is painted, I'm reading through my AVH-P5700DVD manual, and in order to get true *DTS* audio from movies I play, I need a foking seperate decoder: DEQP8000

Looks like I will be delayed by @ 2 weeks before installation due to budget constraints!
But I've waited over 2 years... and by SPL... I'm gonna do my shiz right!

Pioneer DEQ-P8000 digital audio processor will bring the world of surround sound audio into your vehicle.
This exceptional mobile 5.1 channel Pioneer digital audio processor features Dolby® Digital, DTS™ and Dolby® Pro-Logic® II surround sound.
Pioneer DEQ-P8000 automatically adjust for great sound using the built-in multi-channel AUTO-EQ and AUTO-Time alignment feature.
5 Channel MOSFET50 high-power is provided to power your speakers, or use the 6-Channel Hi-Volt preamp outputs to run outboard amplifiers.
Oh yeah.... I will be going for "TRUE SURROUND" thus I will be installing this little gem up front & center:

Center Channel Speaker for use with Multi-Channel Surround systems, including the Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD, DEQ-P8000 and DEQ-P7000.

High sound quality design includes a Kevlar® Fiber Composite Cone, Butyl Rubber Surround, and dual Neodymium magnets. Sealed enclosure designed for easy installation, typically on the vehicle dashboard.
