After months of trying to fix my stereo, I've finally given up after today and am looking to make some changes.

First, I'm looking for an Eclipse AVN-2454 to put in. I know this piece is praised by most and I think it has the best factory look.

If this headunit doesn't work with my system, then I'll know I had faulty wiring or a bad amp and it wasn't the headunit. Nevertheless, I'm still going to put in the head unit.

What suggestions do you have regarding wires to use?

Granting that the amp still works, if I rewire the system, what wires should I use?

If I rewire and it still doesn't work, then I'll know it's the amp, which I'm already in too deep. From here, do I need to replace my speakers and subs with aftermarkets? If so, I'll be looking for some people selling their trunk setups.

I want quality sound, but I am also saving up for my wedding and a house this year. I would say I'm on a tight budget, but have a little room to play.
