Default Repair Manual or help

I have a 1999 GS 300 with the GPS navigation. Recently, my 6-disc CD Changer (the one they put in the glovebox, not trunk) stopped working. I can get a brand new changer for $385 but they require my old changer as well (I guess they go back and refurbish those things).

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to remove the CD Changer (pics would be a great help too!) or if anyone has the repair manual for the audio/visual system. Either would be of great help. Thanks!

first of all you are not getting a new cd changer . you are getting a broken one that has been fixed. it doesnt matter what words ther dealer uses it isnt new. a new gs changer is over 1000.00 so the dealer isnt giving you one for less than he pays for a new one.
i recommend a used gs changer out of a low miliage vehicle that has never been broken and fixed like the dealers "new" ones. definition of the word new is as follows. new means new to you not a new new cd changer with 2 news. new to you and a new changer. when the dealer says he will get you a new changer for 385.00 he means new to you not new never used the box will say the changer is refurbished if you ask to see it before it is installed. .................................................................................................................................................
second question how to remove the changer. therre are about 6 phillips screws to remove the glovebox than the changer is still held on by several pop off springs that are gently disconnected with a pull at the connector areas. 4 nuts hold on changer. 1 10 pin connctor to remove.

Actually I haven't touched the Lexus. I modify the Corolla instead; it's more fun to drive. If the Lexus had come with a manual transmission, I think I would have been happier with it. I just needed to make sure there weren't any hidden screws, nuts, bolts, etc. Thanks for your help though. That's exactly the info I needed.
