Default Nakamich Radio Lights

I contacted Lextech about replacing a burned out light in the display in my Nak radio. They say it is the easiest thing to replace but their bulbs take 14 volts. Has anyone tried to replace these bulbs themselves? Is there anyone you can send the unit to and have them replace the bulbs? My electrical knowledge is limited and I've never soldered anything. I know I can take the unit out. A local stereo dealer said that replacing the bulbs was difficult. The fact that one side is dark irritates me, but if it is too difficult, I guess I'll have to live with it.

I searched but couldn't find this subject.

Help anyone?

Sorry, I should have specified which one I was talking about. One of the two lights in the display, where the station numbers show, is out.

Thanks.

What was said was:

"LLS bulbs take 14 volts and therefore we need to install them ourselves to be sure we get the voltage correct to the bulbs since there will be a slight modification".

I think the OP didn't want to send in to LLS, rather do it themselves..
