I'm sponsored by Optima and the one their people tell me to use is Yellow top. especially if you have lots of audio products in the car.

Its application specific so you need to tell them about your car.

Yup!!! Optima is what I ride with.....I have the blue top though....I would do either Yellow or Blue top....I wouldn't do Red though....THe good thing is that they are dry cell so no worries....

Another vote for the optima yellow top..I have had mine for almost 3 yrs and still going strong..I like the fact that they are sealed..No acid leakage..

Is the red top sufficent for a stock GS430. They do have alot of electrical stuff. Who knows what the actual cca and ca's are on a red?

The red top is typically used for regular use and the yellow is considered an upgrade because unlike regular batteries you can drain and recharge over and over again due to the abuse of stereos, ect.. and it won't kill the battery as quickly as a regular battery would..The fact that it's sealed is a plus if you plan on adding a battery in the trunk. No acid leakage..
