Hello, im just wondering .. How many different wires are there that can act as the vehicle speed sensor to connect a navigation unit to?

I got 4 possibilities: 3 are from here and 1 is from the12volt.com

Here are the 3 from this forum:

"red/blue wire - 17 pin plug, pin #11 located inside ECU box which is under hood on the drivers side"

THEN

"here's the definitive location of the '00 GS400 vehicle speed sensor wire. It is a Violet wire with a white stripe located in a blue color 6 pin plug underneath the driver's dash to the left of the steering colomn."

AND

"the speed sense wire is red/blue, it's in the ECU under the hood on the drivers side in a 17 pin plug,pin 11, your brake wire is green/white in a 20 pin plug in the drivers kick panel."

Are they ALL right?

VIOLET/WHITE wire on the 6 pin blue plug was the one i went with and it worked..
