Default Subs in trunk

I did a search and this hasn't been discussed as far as I could tell. I was thinking of making a wall from mdf that is the same size and shape as the cardboard cover between the trunk and fuel tank and mounting 2 10" free-air subs in there with an amp in the center powering the subs and the 6 1/2 mbquarts I plan to install in my front doors. Any suggestions or comments on whether this will work or sound good??

I'm trying to not to use any trunk space. The trunk is so small to begin with that if I install a sub enclosure I will never be able to fit any of my stuff back there.
