Default Nav video switching

A couple of systems showed the vlad kit, and another circuit board that was used for a component to rgb converter. In these cases whats used to do the a/v switching for the source. Since 3 wires are needed to be changed will this require some sort of a relay or component video switch.

In the case of the Vlad kit, the Pioneer GEX-P7000TV does the switching. It's not a mechanical relay inside the GEX, but a electronic switch. The black box in the kit simply passes video signals from the wires going into the box to the plugs going to the GEX.

so the Pioneer GEX-P7000TV does RGB switching... ?

Yes.. the GEX does RGB switching, but only between the red 20 pin navigation input connector and it's own composite video to RGB decoder. The RGB output is on the green 20 pin monitor connector.
