Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated. I hit a small bump in the road last week and my CD started clicking. Took it into the dealer this morning and was told that my Nak amp went out and would be $1400 for new or $800+ for Nak to rebuild. Don't like either option, but like to listen to music when driving. I perused the board and noticed that there have been many posts about upgrades etc., but not always understandable for a layman or on point for a 1995 SC 400. Any thoughts about:

...reasonably priced aftermarket options
...salvaged Nak unit
...ease of installation

or anything else applicable for this model? If I have to listen to my wife on long trips I will go insane!! Thanks again for your time.

 

Check the Mobil Audio section of the classifieds here or check Ebay. They can generally be found for arounf $100.
