Default DashBoard Digital Clock

Lexus Model GSU35L-AWAGKV, Year 2006, RX 350 Dashboard Digital Clock suddenly stopped working. Secondly, Voice greeter [when you start the car first time in a day] welcomes me with wrong month and date - we are in November 2nd but the car greets me 15th March! Could you help me understand if I can fix it with any reset or I must take it to a tech guy? Dealer is not an option for me now.

For the clock issue, check your owner's manual for any guidance on resetting or calibrating the digital clock. Sometimes, a simple reset can do the trick. Usually, it involves a combination of buttons on the dashboard or steering wheel. If that doesn't work, it might be worth checking the car's fuse box to see if there's a specific fuse for the clock that needs replacing.

As for the voice greeter problem, it sounds like a weird glitch in the system if it's consistently greeting you with the wrong date. Again, consulting your manual for any instructions on resetting the system might be a good first step. You can also try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This can sometimes reset the car's electronics and clear up odd issues.
