Default Well - I DID it!

Since I started this thread:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lc-...-ya-think.html

I've been lookin'. I bought my last used car in 1961, and I decided I was not about to buy one again. So in the past 3 weeks I've tried to get my local dealers to look for me and perhaps dealer trade, but none were interested. Not like RCFGrandpa's dealer in Seattle So I've been lookin' myself.

I found a few good examples and some not so good. I've settled on one in Lincoln Nebraska. I plan to fly in and drive it home to Arizona. It's a 2018 Black on Black LC with the Touring Package. I did not want the Sport Package, because I'm not a fan of Alcantara. It also has the HUD, Convenience Package, All Weather package & Trays, The LSD, The Carbon Spoiler, and the Accessory Package. It has the 20" forged wheels. Those will be the first thing I replace with 21", probably Vossens AND non RFT tires.

Congrats!

The best way to buy a car is to take a road trip home in it

Maybe take some pictures along the way.

I'm sort of reluctant to post pics right off. My new wheels (Vossen) won't be ready for 4 to 5 weeks. My new tires are coming in next week. They are PS4S (none RFT) in 255/40/21 and 295/35/21. I'll wait until then. And I have already made arrangements with PPE for the full boogie headers and exhaust. And then, of course, tinted windows, protect the front end and etc.

Flew out yesterday with a friend. I did the office work and we drove her home.

Bought from Lexus of Lincoln - GREAT FOLKS TO DO BUSINESS WITH There was no administrative charges - NONE! They gave me 30 day transit paper plates. When I get the Nebraska title, I'l bring it the the Arizona MVD (Yes MVD) and go through the registration song & dance with them.

Took us 20 hrs and 30 mins. The front is plastered with bugs. But Boy, what a wonderful car!

Congrats Lou, but keep your ISF for a while before putting it on the market it looks too good, or just keep it, I would hate if some young punk got it and …….. you know the rest cheers.
