Thanks so much for your comments. I’ve purchased new 2001 IS 300 in Silver, 2006 SC430 and 2008 ISF both in Mercury Metallic, wife’s 2017 NX300h in white. I thought I needed some color. Molten Pearl RCF at 4 1/4 years old, I still get thumbs up, waves, and people commenting about the color all the time saying that they have never seen one. The infrared LC 500 is even more rare and have already have been given the same feedback. Lexus boring? Not for me.

So jealous... If I had those two cars in my garage, I'd go out every morning and spend way too much time trying to figure out which to drive, and ultimately end up late for work.
Though I see your garage suffers from the same affliction as mine: the center post. I see you wrapped yours. I may need to do that.

Driving Impressions
I have only driven the LC once, the RCF since January 2015. It’s basically for my wife since I sold her SC430 to my son. It’s only has 38 miles on the odometer. In Sport + mode it is louder and quicker but I have only driven it 7 miles. I plan to drive it this weekend but it will take me a while to really see what the differences are.

Thanks Again Club Members!
I just wanted to thank you all so much for your kind posts. My driving impressions right now because I only have 62 miles on it (took delivery on Wednesday last week). I’m old school and old, in my mid sixties so I have had many muscle cars in my past. I was a Chevrolet enthusiast until I bought my first Lexus exactly nineteen years ago this month, a 2001 IS 300 only a month after they came out. So right now I compare them like a 70’s Z/28(RCF) and an LT-1 Corvette(LC). Again, my personal opinion. I love the exhaust note. You have to experience it in real life opposed to YouTube or such. I also think it’s a bit quicker than the RCF(must be that extra 4hp). I just turned 8,600 miles on the RCF today so I have some catching up to do this summer on the LC. Also I haven’t found anything else to add to it like the genuine Japanese Lexus RCF only parts I added to it(see my posts in the RCF section). Feel free to ask any questions between the two. Side by side in the garage the RCF wheels look small compared to the 21 inch wheels on the LC.

Exhaust Note
I love the exhaust note on my new LC 500 better than my RCF. Wife says she thinks that the RCF is louder. They both sound great while driving.

I bought a 2008 ISF brand new( traded in my 06 SC430) and was very impressed with it. Until I bought my new 2015 RCF. I find it so much more fun to drive and I personally think it’s faster than the ISF I traded in. As far as my LC500, it’s quick with that 10 speed transmission. I was so glad to see Lexus develop a coupe for street driving(RCF) and a coupe for long distance driving(LC500).

Free Apple Car Play
That is why I bought it. Lexus would not discount them originally. It’s not a 2019 it’s a 2018 build date of 9/18 so it does not have lot rot. Lexus is giving $20,000 cash for purchase of an 2018. With a $5k discount added to the 20k, I’ve taken the depreciation hit. If anyone is interested Lexus cash good until 6/3/19. So it’s not a 2019 or a 2020 coming soon, it’s still brand new with 8 miles. With Apple Car Play added for $199 its almost the same as a 2019.
