PPE Engineering Equal Length Headers for the LC500
PPE Engineering has just finished up their equal length headers for the LC500.
304 Stainless Equal Length 100% TIG welded Parallel Merge Collectors NIC Glacier Black High Temp Ceramic Coating *Made in USA These shots courtesy of PPE Engineering are of my friend's car with the headers installed. My car is set for installation of PPE's catless mid-pipe and these headers next week. PPE will be running my car on the dyno with some numbers to post. I'll get video clips as well. Finally, the LC will get that needed bump in HP and torque that it needs to get it's fat ass moving LOL. I think seeing 520-540 crank HP shoudln't be an issue with supporting bolt-ons in addition to these awesome headers. Add a little 93+ octane and I think the LC will be a little more fun to drive than stock. Looking forward to the video and the dyno results!!!
Only thing now, is finding a good performance garage here in Central Florida... |

UPDATE***
Baseline dyno SAE corrected on a Dynojet with Boost Logic Intakes and Tom's Titan Axle-back my LC500 made 400whp in 5th gear. PPE Engineering has just finished up installing their equal length headers and catless/non-resonated mid-pipe and the car goes back for final dyno testing today. I would like to see 450whp but I think it's just wishful thinking we'll see. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...e85dd3263b.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...196fd06cc6.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...9f8585a96e.jpg |
Do you have a picture of the factory exhaust manifolds? Just curious what they look like.
Thanks! |
I'm curious if after installation were there any engine codes / check engine lights generated. Did there need to be a 'tune' applied to the car to take advantage of the headers?
Mucha Gracias! |

Satisfied or no? I feel like that's a bit down for exhaust/headers/tune. Bit nonetheless, a ton of power to the wheels. WevWe just seen I/H/E/T isf's making 420-425 to the wheel, and that's with already giving up 50+ hp to the rcf/LC500.
anyhow, you thanks for being one of the first to do this and share your results!! V. |
^^^^No tune! Don't believe there is one for the LC!

on the same dyno, an RCF dynoed 377 max stock run. The same RCF dynoed 418 max with our headers and exhaust installed (no tune). Same numbers as the LC500 So doing headers and exhaust on the LC500 should net about the same power gains. About 40-45whp gain |
