Default LC500 Tire and Wheel Coverage

Anyone can give me feedback on what the tire and wheel coverage should cost on the LC500?
Picking up my car nest week .

Mine was $28/mo on a 36 month lease. BUT...I cancelled it 20 days after I signed the lease and got a refund.

I noticed the fine fine print said that it does not cover any cosmetic damage to “chrome or simulated chrome or polished wheels” which I have. So, read carefully before you sign.

I started a thread about it.

I purchased 5 years of tire and wheel coverage for $4300. I have the aftermarket 21" Vorsteiner wheels and thought it might be worth it. Reading the fine print convinced me otherwise; I cancelled and received a full refund.

Default Tire and Wheel Coverage & Tire Damage experience

Thanks for the feedback I am just coming off a 650 Lease with 20" wheels with runflats and I went through 12 tires and one rim in 36 months. The tires where so sensitive I ended up not using the 650 for long trips. The 650 drove like a dream the tires ruined the whole experience and I did not have the coverage.
How has your experience been so far with the LC tires? Any sidewall bubbles? I have the 21" Forged wheel option

You got a new tired every 3 months (not wear related)? Where were you driving? 100mph through an obstacle course of 12" deep potholes fill with nails? lol

In all seriousness, tires are whatever unless you get the nasty nail in sidewall. Tirerack has them for $370 for the 21" OEM, but the 20" was $220 and non OEM was $150. Since the rims were not covered due to the chrome simulation, the cost wasn't justified. You should read the contract in depth to be sure that chrome wheels are not excluded.

Again, I paid effectively $1,170 for 36 months. I can't believe that previous poster that paid $4,000+..that's insane.

This is my first experience with Bridgestone Potenza Runflat tires, and so far no issues. No sidewall bubbles, and no uneven wear. They're a bit noisy however, and I suspect they'll wear rather quickly.

It certainly is! That's the other reason why I cancelled the coverage (thankfully, zero hassle getting a refund). If I had opted for a 36 month term, the cost would've been approximately what you paid. Ultimately, the tire and wheel coverage just wasn't worth it for me personally, but I will be avoiding pothole filled and nail strewn streets like the plague.
