Voted "Hottest Luxury Ride" (Hot Import Nights)
 

I took one home for the team here guys/gals. Last week I entered my LC into Hot Import Nights auto show in Scottsdale, AZ at WestWorld. It was a long hot day awaiting check in and staging however, my LC500 A.K.A. #Z8AKU took home the "Hottest Luxury Ride" that night. Probably some 300+ cars in attendance. The judges loved it as did most people who were able to view it. I will be exhibiting Z8AKU at this years SEMA event in Las Vegas from 10/30-11/02. Here are some photos from Hot Import Nights last week. Also check out the subtle updates as the chrome roof moldings have been painted gloss black as well as the tail light bezels. The engine cover was painted in the car's exterior Ultra White and came out amazing.

Just out of curiosity, why do you like the word zeitaku (贅沢) so much?

Great question. When I was considering a custom plate for my LC I wanted something that would reflect the car as I see it, and a bit of my personality as well. Since Toyota Motor Corporation is the parent company for Lexus and TMC being a Japanese company I felt it best to choose a word that would describe luxury or elegance. With a simple search of the word luxury in Japanese, the word "Zeitaku" came up. It means extravagant or luxury. I shortened the word creating the acronym "Z8AKU" to fit my plate.
