Has anyone else here ordered their LC from the factory? Put a deposit on mine January 8th and was just told that it was built sometime in late March (no precise date, no serial number). Now Lexus Canada tells my dealer that delivery will take 2+ months, bringing it to late May. That's almost a five month wait...

I wonder if it has anything to do with the recall. However, when I ordered my 450h, it also took 5-6 months to come in. It's tough waiting that long especially given the fact you already have given them some of your cash for a deposit. I know how frustrating that can be.

I ordered my car Feb 27, the production date was April 12, delivery date at Port of Jacksonville, FL is May 16. Dealer delivery probably on May 24.

hey OP, same situation here. about a month back i took to reddit for some clarification /r/askcarsales, apparently dealerships have an "allocation order" they can submit to the factory for custom builds, the catch being they are submitted at the end of each month and if someone is before you it's going to be another 30 days before yours gets submitted. in any event, i put my deposit down Feb 8, and only recently was told it will arrive sometime in June, so like you it's a 5 month wait
