Default How Much Off MSRP?

Hello all,

I'm in the market for an LC500 and I was wondering if some of you could post your buying experiences. I was at a Chevrolet dealership in Orlando, Fl and managed to get 14K of the MSRP of a 2018 Z06 Corvette, but after driving the LC the Vette doesn't appeal to me anymore.. Has anyone gotten more than 10K off the MSRP for their LC?

Thanks in advance, and I'm sorry if this has already been discussed.. I couldn't find it in the threads.

I haven't seen any posts where anyone paid less than invoice for a new purchase - which I believe is around $6800 off MSRP for a loaded LC500. However, I have seen many posts and ads showing more than $10K discounts for pre-owned LCs.

Maybe so, I know they are still relatively new. I've only seen one on the road and that was about 2 months ago. Can someone please share their purchase experience?

Madmax, do you mind tell me what makes the LC500 more appealing to you than the Z06? I am in the same boat cross shopping a "fun weekend toy",
I can't pick between the LC500, Z06 and a lightly driven R8.
thanks.

A great compliment for the LC.

People are willing to pay more and sacrifice power for the refinement of quality and driving experience.

The Vette is a nice car, but when I drove it I felt like I was riding on the back of a grizzly bear. The car's front wheels "track" on every imperfection on the road, and the car is "all american V8" LOUD under hard acceleration. During a slow speed tight turn the rear end makes a weird sound. The dealership says it's normal and showed me a section in owner's manual that states the same. Also, I noticed the fit/finish was OK, but not up to Lexus standards.

**Another important note** I bought a new C6 Vette back in 2006. I got a rude awakening when I learned that I had to either rent a car or find a ride home when I brought it into the dealership the first time. That never happened when I had my Lexus GS430, or my IS350. There was always a courtesy loaner waiting for me.

If you're looking for a car with mind-bending speed and handling then get the Vette. You won't be disappointed. Me, I'm looking for something that sounds nice, drives even better, and looks amazing. The LC 500 fits the bill for me.

The LC and Vette are totally different cars.

I'll take the ZR1 for myself. But I won't pull up to my local Wine bar in it. The LC I'll part right in front and it fits right in. On the other hand the LC is no where near "fast" in todays age of 600 700 800hp sports cars

The LC looks gorgeous inside out and build quality is insane. Everyone who looks at it just drops their jaw.

I got a few percent off MSRP. If you let me know what you're looking for I can ask my sales lady and see if they have something to match in stock - she's been with Lexus for 30 years+, she signs her emails LOL - Love Our Lexus.

here are some pics of the LC after some paint correction to bring it to 100%

I appreciate the offer but it looks like you're in Texas. I'm looking to purchase something in Florida. I like the pics though, nice car.

Vraa, nice pics. Looks like you are local in the Houston area. You got your car from Westside, beautiful color BTW. Just wondering did you shop around before
you went with Westside?

I only work with Mary when considering Lexus cars. Sterling McCall is on my **** list as are any other Group1 dealers

Mary has been with Lexus for 30+ years, she understands customer service. I don't need to shop around, but I do aggressively negotiate pricing and I'm not afraid to talk if the deal is not appealing to me.

I'm in negotiations for an LC aswell and dealer is not budging on the price. Friend of mine traded her 2016 LX570 and she paid full price also as they were not offering any discount this was 6 months.

Btw Lexus started in 1989 that's almost 29 years so I'm not sure how can she work 30+ years. Sorry but I had to check since u mentioned that twice.
