Interesting write up, though very short. Eventually it sounds like a tie?
Having never driven either car, I cannot speak for anything other than looks. I'm a long time James Bond fan, and the Aston Martins hold a special place in my heart. But the first time I saw an LC500 on a poster at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR), I just melted away to nothing. I just stood in one spot and stared (drooled, even) I saw two of them at a local Lexus dealer (when I was taking delivery of my 2014 IS250), and I got to sit inside. I was/am blown away by the quality of workmanship, choice of material, design, looks etc. And despite loving the Aston Martin DBxx cars, they simply look dated next to the LC500. Can't afford one, but I shall love from afar.

Good little read there.
I felt the same way when I first saw a 98 GS400 waaay back then.
Now that competition in every manufacturers has stepped up, nothing draws me like that anymore.
The new LC is very close though since it's still very rare on the streets.
As for the AM, I'll take a DBS over any of these newer Astons any day
