Supposedly....and there was to be a new IS-F as well.

It won't change the fact that the LC is an overweight GT car.

Maybe if they do use this engine in the new GS sized car, they can finally have an M5 competitor.

LCF did however post the best stock F time in Car and Driver's Lightning Lap. A 620 hp version gets my vote, if not my dollars.

Everything I've heard from Lexus employees and read on the web say that there will be no new IS-F or GS-F, and that the GS is being dropped entirely in favor of the new ES.

if source holds true, a newly developed FI TT 4.0L V8 is very exciting news. BOV and V8 glug glue galore-coming from a lexus that's sure to break necks

It'll depreciate so quickly though. It'll be $75,000 in a few years.

150k range is P car pricing. Would Porsche over Lexus GT car all day. Especially with Porsche knocking these new models out of the park.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...... my eyes just beheld an LC500 in a Lexus showroom - jaws dropped; eyes popped wide open; heart raced; drooling commenced; speechless! I don't give a **** what it costs, I want one! You can have your Porsche.

Will that beauty be timeless though? That type of reaction is exactly what the car companies target—immediate and often irrational passion. “Something new is always something better” mentality. That’s why they want you to buy immediately so you don’t have time to think it over and come to your senses.

The first time I saw the RCF I was blown away by it because it was new and different and looked cool. I feel very different about that design today and am glad I did not end up purchasing one because I very quickly changed my opinion on the looks of that car. Put the LC next to a 911 and the impression of its “today” styling may be very different.

The 911 is a timeless design from the 1960s. Although it has changed with the times, it still remains the bug-eyed, sloped back car from the 60's in terms of styling. Placing a 911 next to an LC would only further illustrate the modernity of the LC's "today" design. Was that your point?

For the record, I have long opined that Lexus needed to join the FI club to remain at the forefront of buyer's interests. Glad to see them stepping up with a few turbo offerings now. Now I don't have to go and buy a ZL1

Nah, it's going to be moreso in the $180k range😔. Maybe a 4-5year old one with 100k on the clock could reach $75k. But if that's the number you're wanting on, unfortunately you're going to wait a while.

there are a few LC500's running around by my house.... I'm just not that impressed by them for the price they cost. However, if you don't care what they cost, I'll sell you one for $200k! Lol

The funny thing is that between the GSF, RCF and LC500, none of them are overly impressive vs our 2008 era ISFs. Like someone else said, the ISF must’ve been way ahead of its time, Toyota is way behind the times, or most likely a combination of both...

Only ones that seem to like the above mentioned vehicles are sipping the Lexus kool-aide rather than accept that they just happened to knock one and only one out of the park with the ISF. Rest of Lexus is pretty meh.
