In your opinion what is the best colour combination?
I have an LC500h on order in white with the red/black interior.
I think the white shows the lines of the car really well.
Infrared or Sonic Red as it is known in the UK seems very popular on here.
The blue used in a lot of the promotional material looks really nice but you can't order the car in that colour.

Are you kidding? White is the easiest color to take care of. Unless you are driving thru mud puddles all the time. Black is the PITA.

I've owned both white and black cars, and they are both PITA to keep looking good. Best colors to get if you don't like a car looking dirty are silver/tan/light gray. But they are also the most boring / least "popping" colors. Red's actually not too bad about hiding dirt if it's not dark.

Btw, did Lexus release any "official" recommendations? I would imagine they had specific combinations in mind when designing the car.

Does anyone have good shots of the LC in smoky granite mica? All I found is this but the lighting is too bright to get a good grasp of the color.

I saw an LC in smoky granite mica at the dealer this week and it's a very nice paint job. It has an organic hue to it, more like real slate/graphite than granite. From what I understand, they have reintroduced it after years of absence. I've also seen the tan leather in the flesh for the first time and while I'm generally not one for tan interiors, this looked really pleasant. Anyway, smoky granite mica is kind of underrated and if you're into more low key colors, I'd definitely recommend it. There's videos and pictures of it but like atomic silver (which I went with), it looks a little different in real life.
