As all of us know the first LCs all came to the US had either the 20 or 21 in forged wheels that had the "chrome" look. I, for one, did not purchase the LC I ordered as I did not like the 20 in wheel that came with the Touring Pkg. I much preferred the look of the 20 in Cast wheel shown on the Lexus website. I know that forged wheels are lighter but I do not want the LC to race around a track. Yesterday I received a message from my local dealer's salesman with an update that Lexus has now changed the process and one can order the LC with the base 20 in Cast wheel. Apparently Lexus got the message that the initial wheel offering was not widely accepted.
