Default Can Infotainment System Settings Stay as I Set Them?

When using the split screen to show the navigation map and radio, my system changes on the highway to show the highway exits coming up by itself.

I've researched and tried going through the menus - to no avail. And posed the question to the Product Specialist, who has yet to find a solution.

Does anyone know of a way to keep my settings as I choose instead of what Lexus thinks should happen?

Let me know if you find out more information on that issue. I've tried many times I couldn't get rid of the highway exit information unless I don't use navigation system.

Put the radio on the left and the nav map on the right. Otherwise I just toggle the radio icon to make it come back on the right whenever the highway exits thing pops up.

What if you go to the "Set up" menu and turn off the "Auto change to screen" function?

Hoppean, I don't see that setting anywhere under "Set up."

I'd expect it to be under the Navigation sub-menu section of Set up. But can't locate it under any of the other sub-menus.

The closest I can find is "Auto Destination List Info" (under the Navigation sub-menu section). No idea what that is.

Unfortunately, that setting has nothing to do with the nav highway exits appearing...

“Auto Change to Screen”
Select to set automatic screen changes from the audio/air conditioning control screen to the previous screen to on/off. When set to on, the screen will automati- cally return to the previous screen from the audio/air conditioning control screen after 20 seconds.

I don't have an LC on hand right now, but if your map is open you can access the map modes to turn that off and on. I believe you can find that option on the left hand side of the map screen. You may have to have a route programmed in to access it

LOLjasonW, thanks for the suggestion. However, I tried looking for something like you described - to no avail...

It could be programmed that way in the navigation system. Unless they re-program it, we will have to just live with it.
More urgently, LC needs seat's ventilating/heating buttons. Or even better, a 360 degree camera.
