After reading the thread on Squeaky brakes I just returned LC 500 that I got 2 days ago. I will wait till Lexus gets this figured out.

I think it is L-SB-0013-18. Has anyone had this applied to the Hybrid?

mine was factory ordered so i was assured that i will have that issue since mine was built with my request.
And i have not had any issues with my previous lexus with the exception of my rx which built in canada instead of japan.
Just think about, has any other lc owners who did a factory order have had any issues with their brakes.

What does factory order have to do with it?!? They’re all built (and ordered) from the same factory. And YES, I have the issue, and was special order.

Im curious about this as well.

I skimmed through the thread and I must have missed if someone answered this question.

^^^^Brembo manufacturer's calipers, they do not manufacturer rotors or pads. Although you might find some rotors and pads labeled Brembo, but as I said they are not made by Brembo. I can find nothing that says the calipers on an LC500 are Brembo, but I would be shocked if they were not.

Brembo does market and sell both rotors and pads with their name on them, but I wouldn't know whether they actually manufacture them...

My dealer has heard nothing about this. Couldn't find anything referenced/no announcements or bulletins. The TSB posted a few down from your reply is completely unrelated & doesn't have anything to do with the LC, or even brakes/pads.

My LC is a March 2018 production and I've put about 1,000 miles since receiving it two weeks ago, no brake noise issues at all up to now. Lots and lots of brake dust however...

The only problem I have had with braking was when trying to use the Hold feature. After turning feature off the brakes were squealing.

I concur with what LCInfrared states above. Mine is an April 2018 production with now just shy of 1,700 miles. No squealing or noise and I have used the HOLD function multiple times.Performance of the brakes is great!!

Brake dust is another issue - the wheels get noticeable dust with just a short drive, with our without heavy braking. It will be interesting to see what longevity I get out of the pads.
