jeant, Are you in Medford? Where will you get service warranty work? Regarding order process, as I said ordered end of March delivered June 14. Am now attempting to learn all the settings and functions; having a tough time trying to order and arrange radio stations/audio sources and apps. Will stop by dealer if I can't figure it all out. Ordered floor mats, dealer said it will be several weeks to get them.

For those who have the car, are you experiencing excessive wind noise at speeds >50 mph and the transmission holding the gears too long? I'm comparing this to my RX450h. Otherwise car feels like a luxury slot car that steps up smartly when your right foot flexes forward.

No wind noise or gear holding, What mode you driving in? Sport will obviously hold gears longer.

What I'm annoyed with is random play from USB. It is NOT very random... A,B,C,A,B,D,B,etc. Plus 50% of the time it plays A again immediately if A was already playing when the car started up.. A,A,B,C,A,B,D,... I have 300+ songs on USB, but it seems is likes to only play the first 5-7 songs 90% of the time.

I am in Ashland. I can get it serviced in Eugene or Portland. I don't mind spending some time in either place as long as I can get a loaner.

Radio station pre-sets as well as other settings are a PITA. I'll be calling my salesperson soon with a list of questions.

I didn't notice any wind noise at any speed on my way home. To me, it was nice and quiet. I was only noticing shifting if I looked at my tach.

No wind noise here, also not holding gears. The technology specialist at the dealership helped set my pre sets. I still have to figure out how everything works...My dealer has an extra set of all weather mats. Mine came with them and the parts dept. ordered in another set. Let me know if you want their number.

RE: Holding gears; I'm in comfort mode,as I said I'm accustomed to the RX, so perhaps I need to change my expectations. RE: Wind noise, that and more road noise, but again this is a sport/GT car and I need to accept that it isn't designed to be like an LS. Still trying to figure out presets and other seemingly random electronic abnormalities. Now maintenance reminders appear every time I start the car and when I put the car in reverse it starts to beep like a truck backing up. Will be spending more time in the garage trying to learn the settings. BTW Jean, any good plays this year, my wife and I used to spend 3-4 days there and are thinking about it again this year.

The reverse beeping thing is annoying and can be turned off by service tech only They said it's a carry over from hybrid cars being too quiet. If anyone gets a complete list of LPS settings, please post them. Back in the day Lexus used to publish the complete lists online.

I've heard really good things about Shakespeare in Love. The 2 Henrys should be really good, if you like the history plays. Outdoor season just opened. I work there as a volunteer, so as I hear more, I'll PM you.

My LFA has that insane reverse beeping noise. I hope it can be deleted via the dealer. I somehow doubt I will be so fortunate but will check into it. Glad you mentioned this is possble for the LC.
