Default Why so few with Michelin's ?

Every blue moon I see a 23 vert with M-Pilot's, nearly all are coming with B-Stones, has this always been the case? I had also read here the sport pkg comes with the pilots, but I see verts which are all touring, get them too but rarely.

Stock LCs come with Michelin, Bridgestone, or Dunlop RF Tires. And, no, the Sport Package or RWS LCs also come with the same tire as any other LC. IOW, not all Sport or RWS are riding on Michelin's.

From what I’ve seen shopping new verts all around the country most common these days appear to be the b-stones at least on the 21” wheels,

..Interesting…..Sounds exactly like a ‘bait & switch’…..I think Lexus promotes the LC on Michelins….But in actuality will install anything that will fit their requirements.....My custom ordered OG LC was wearing B-stones on delivery..... And yes I was disappointed.

In the UK only very early 17/18 cars seemed to be on Michelins and everything else I’ve seen are Bridgestones.
My guess is Michelins for the press cars and cheaper Bridgestones for the rest of the production.
There are 3 or 4 convertibles for sale in the UK right now (it’ll be one less next week!) and they’re all on Bridgestones. Convertible-wise I don’t think I’ve seen a review or car with anything other than Bridgestones.

Out of the ~85 new verts available here in the US I’ve seen only 2 with Pilots, 1 was on a stunning triple black car.

Eh, if/when I finally get my Bespoke Build order delivered, the first couple things I'm doing immediately:

1.) PPF the entire thing.
2.) Throw out whatever tires come on the car and put new Michelin PS4S (or 5S if it's out by then).

I think all the ones in Canada are on Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I don’t recall seeing any bridgestone tires.

That being said, I don’t think ill replace these PSS with another set. I’d probably downgrade them to a regular set of PS 4s or something as I have no intention of ever driving this car that hard. Much rather get better wear and a softer ride so I can cruise more in comfort.

I am in Ontario and my 2022 bespoke coupe came with Bridgestone tires. Did not drive too much last summer but will probably use them this year and then swap out to something else.

Pilots are and have been my choice of tire since they came out in the late 80's/early 90's. I am not a ROF fan, but I'd imagine the Michelins ROF's are still better than the other choices of ROF's regardless.

I think non-ROF Pilots are an upgrade, as your car will drive much nicer in both ride quality and handling (non-rof's are lighter and less unsprung weight is always a plus).
