Okay just got my 2023 LC.

Currently my gun is concealed in a lockbox in a backpack. Is there anyone out there that has found anything from anyone for a way to mount a safe or something? This car gets massive attention and defense ready and waiting might become a necessity.

According to the news, Alabama has a great concealed carry law going into affect in Jan.

A gun won't do you any good in a lock box when being carjacked.

Yes, Alabama is going with Constitutional Carry. I mean the constitution does guarantee the right to bare arms, so why require a permit. If you're a criminal you carry without permit anyway. Permits are only for law abiding citizens.

 

In Texas just toss it in your glove box or wear on person and you are good. If you get pulled over just tell the officer you are carrying.

 

You might try this. It works well and is very minimalistic. Under the steering wheel or the side of the transmission tunnel. 3M adhesive tape works instead of screws.

as a Canadian, this is the most american thread ive ever seen on our LC forums hahahaha.

 

I'm sorry, but we do hold on to our 2nd Amendment rights fondly and are very proud of it. Definitely a 'merican thing.
