So, is it or isn't it
Hear the term 'supercar' all the time. McLaren, Lamborghini, AMG, etc. Are our LC's considered a supercar? The only place I can find them referenced as such is on a Lexus themed blog. What do you think?
For Lexus…..Yes.....Generically speaking…..No. :circlel
No not a supercar. Not even close.
LFA is a supercar; my LC is super, but no LFA.
when i's a kid, tho, had a harley sportster which some buds deemded "half a harley"; do you suppose my LC is half a LFA ? na , just kidding ... |
not a supercar. super car would be from a more exotic marque that has low volume production and significantly faster speeds.
Definitely not. The only area where it is supercar-like (and probably why some people apply the supercar label to it) is the way it looks
Uhh…it’s only a $100k vehicle….
It's arguably not even a sports car but rather a sporty GT car. Definitely not a supercar.

I would describe these are hypercars vs supercars. Definitely the LaFerrari is a hypercar along with P1 and 918 Spyder. McLaren 720S and Ferrari F8 are supercars.
However, Hypercar still applies to a car over a $million. https://jalopnik.com/its-time-to-fin...car-1822414169 |
