Does any one know what frequency, Lows, Mids, are projected by the lower forward speakers on the doors? Has anyone opened one up to get at it, is it involved?
I'm hoping its a simple wire thats disconnected.

No problem. They are probably rated in the range of 40-500Hz, I believe average is 20-200Hz for standard woofers. Hope it's something simple for you to fix.
Well I ended up spending hours last night cutting out the plastic grating from the sub speaker cover. A lot more time consuming then I thought it would be. Unfortunately, it didn't completely eliminate the bass rattling. Apparently, it worked for many other members, so now I'm trying to locate the exact source of my rattling. If any coupe owners are looking into doing this mod and don't feel like going through the hours of meticulously cutting out all of that plastic, while ensuring you don't poke any holes in the fabric and would like to trade speaker grilles let me know. It was a real pain in the ***. The round section with the fabric on the opposite side easily detaches from the leather covered body panel once you remove those 12 screws, so the piece isn't that large. Maybe it will work for you since my rattle must be elsewhere.

It might also be the upper (3rd) brake light that's rattling. I have that now. Here's a good vid if you want to remove/check it.

Thought of buying a new brake light to get rid of the rattle...but, I do love a good Sunday project. Almost as much as I like saving myself some coins.
Once removed, if you tap on the brake light assy., you can hear all kinds of rattling. The light bar inside is just not properly secured. The unit is sealed but I decided I needed to get inside so I got a little story.
