Default Tilting mirror in reverse

My passenger mirror tilts down when in reverse. Can I tilt both mirrors? I can't seem to find the answer in the manual. I have one back in spot that I could use the driver side to tilt.

Not with my car now but is your mirror adjustment button on the driver setting (little green light) and did you check if that makes a difference?

I'm not with the car now either. I'll check it later. Thanks.

Did you adjust the mirrors to go down while in reverse?

Basically, if you switch your transmission to R, your mirrors should be tilting down. For the one that hasn't tilted, try adjusting it to the desired (tilted down) position. Then put it back on P. Finally, go back in reverse again, and see if it tilts down again.

Note: I believe that the side view mirror adjustment switch, has to be toggled to one side or another.

I'll try that next chance I get. Thanks!

From the manual:

■ Adjusting the mirror angle when the vehicle is reversing

With the shift lever in R, adjust the mirror angle at a desired position. The adjusted angle will be memorized and the mirror will automatically tilt to the memorized angle whenever the shift lever is shifted to R from next time. The memorized downward tilt position of the mirror is linked to the normal position (angle adjusted with the shift lever in other than R). Therefore, if the normal position is changed after adjustment, the tilt position will also change.

When the normal position is changed, readjust the angle in reversing.

OK, I see that in the manual now. Thanks!

Both tilting now, thanks all!
One major complaint I have with the LC is no front camera, so I have to remember to back into many spots I used to pull in straight with my traded in C7 Vette. And one spot at the hospital has a curb on the driver's side. The other day I bumped it with the rear tire, no damage luckily. But got me thinking.
