Default Changing radio station while moving

Just watched a video that claimed you can’t change the radio station while the LC500 is moving. Is that true?

Not true! There are a few ways to change channels while driving. The easiest is by using the up/down channel switches on the steering wheel.

You probably watched an episode of Ignition. If so, then the car was a pre-production unit reviewed by Motor Trend. I have an LC and I can change the radio station whenever the car is moving.

I've seen more than one LC review video that claimed the same thing. Nonsense. Just knuckleheads that didn't take 3 seconds to figure it out. As stated above - the steering wheel buttons are most convenient.

Lame and lazy review. Not true at all.

I remember watching this at the time and common sense dictates that something like that was never going to be true. Sure enough, various commenters on the video started the rubbish that claim. The navigation system and thrashed in almost all reviews, but a couple have actually said that if you spend more than a week in the thing, you’ll get used to it no problem.

It just goes to further prove that all of these reviews are only copies of other reviews they've read prior to doing their own review. Lets face it, real reviews takes time, dedication, and some would argue real passion....something auto-journalism doesn't have nearly enough revenue to pay for.

This is the most likely reason why almost all LC500 reviews are so identical. Is the LC infotainment really that bad? or is the so called journalist just saying what he heard somebody else say?

We've also heard time and time again how the grill is the only spindle iteration that flows well with the LC.

Like another poster said, lazy and lame. and BASIC!

I think most reviewers can only test the car within a span of 24h, since they use review units which bounce back from youtuber to youtuber. Same thing with smartphones and other gadgets. Having a car for a week is a costly expense for both the car owner and the reviewer, since "selling" the review has to make up it in monetary terms for the period they are testing it. Note that video post-production takes a lot of time too, it's not only being in the car itself.
