Everyone thinks I'm crazy to switch from a Z06 to a Lexus. I've owned it for two days and love it so far. They're such different cars that it is hard to even compare them, despite the fact that their MSRP was only a few hundred dollars different. The LC does feel slow to me (giving up 179 HP & 252 torque) but I think it is worth it since it is so much more refined and comfortable. I have new Vorsteiner wheels and rear spoiler coming in about a week. The Z06 only had 2700 miles on it in thirteen months. I'm hoping I find excuses to drive this more. One thing that was definitely more pleasant when driving the Z06 was the view out of the windshield. The LC just looks like a straight, blah hood that tapers straight off. The Z06 had beautiful curves to stare at while going down the road.

Members choosing the LC over corvette appears to be a bit of a trend now. I wonder what other cars the LC have fended off when owners were cross shopping.

I sold my '09 Corvette Coupe and "moved up" to the LC. Among other things, the LC is easier to get in and out of.

 

Man...huge congrats. I definitely don't think you're crazy. That car looks incredible in white.

I got to drive one a few months back when I was vacationing with my wife at Blackberry Farm in East TN. Lexus sponsors them or something and they had one on the property. Unbelievable car. Fast isn't everything...there's so much more to a car than power, and the LC encompasses that. Refinement to the max.
