Default The Lexus LC F is coming!

Hey all, hope everyone is having a wonderful day today! We all have woken up to some amazing news today from an official source. THE LC-F will be coming for sure and the speculative news regarding it is looking very good for the car and Lexus as a whole! http://blog.caranddriver.com/scoop-6...ing-this-fall/

There is the link directly to the article.

Lets start a discussion regarding this new car and what it will mean for Lexus!

Where do you all think the price point will start at?
What will it actually look like?
Torque numbers? Stock tire sizes? Colors? Horsepower? How accurate do you all think the artist rendering of the LC-F is?

" The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 also will find its way into the GS F—making 550 horsepower—" Do you think this will also trickle down to the RC-F? Or will the RC-F be downsized to a twin turbo V6?
This is all exciting news as it looks like Lexus is finally shaping out their flagship models for each model range, in addition to getting in line with the German competitors and the flagship models.

I just saw this also: http://www.leftlanenews.com/lexus-re...wer-94780.html

Hopefully a 4.0L V8 twin turbo (at least you'd think it would be twin turbocharged) from two new 8AR 2.0L turbo engines will prove to be one of Toyota's truly special engines over the long term.

This also means that some components may be shared with the 8AR series. It also possibly says something about the performance credibility (on a smaller scale) of the 8AR turbo engines themselves.

Now all Toyota/Lexus needs is a proper dual clutch automated manual transmission and a Torsen limited slip differential that couples with torque vectoring technology like the RC-F and you've got Lexus' version of what the Aston Martin V8 Vantage used to be called: "An iron fist in a velvet glove."

And may I ask what is exactly do you find so special in those cars that's lacking in the lc? The lc is at least 3 steps above those cars in every aspect

Well there are a couple of LFA owners on this forum and it's a car that's still frequently discussed as Lexus' halo. I would rather they make one than not!
