And per discussions earlier, the high bidder currently is a dealer. If I wanted to trade an LC in top condition, I would definitely be in touch with them as they seem to have a market for premium LC’s and willing to pay top $$$

The current high bidder - PMUZI ($120K + 5% buyer's fee with 5 days to go) belongs to Mr. Phillip Muzi, the pre-owned sales manager for Hilton Head (SC) Lexus. He's the same guy who paid $122K (+ 5% buyer's premium) for a bespoke 2026 (white/toasted caramel/tan top) LC convertible last week. BTW - it's currently advertised on their website for $159,998! This may be a good indication of what's ahead for us owners or just a greedy cash grab on behalf of one Lexus dealer.
I will genuinely be interested to see, over time, the relative value of the coupes vs convertibles. For now, the convertibles seem to be more strongly in demand, across the southern states. In the longer-run, however, the later model (post-2021) coupes are in far shorter supply, and then you have the relative rarity of the DHP cars. Could make for some curious dynamics. Of academic interest, since I plan to hold onto my car for a good many years...
Seems to be a feeding frenzy right now among enthusiasts with resources to satisfy missed opportunities to own an underappreciated vehicle that satisfies their specs. Once the creame de la creame of these buyers are satisfied and out of the market, that point going forward is the one that fascinates.

So glad I don't give a rat's azz about resale value! 😋
Completely agree, except, in my case checking the current sale/resale trends is extra sugar on my decision to purchase. Guess it's a vanity thing. Not an issue if mine depreciates to zero. It's here to stay.
