Default used LC too old to certify

Anyone bought a used LC out of warranty and too old to certify?
I do remember a post on a dealer, I believe was Toyota that was selling Lexus warranty at great prices. Any recommendation on who to get a quote from?
I'm very hesitate to proceed without full coverage warranty...thanks.....

If it's too old to be CPO by Lexus it is unlikely that you will be able to buy a true Lexus extended warranty. Amy warranty a dealership sells after the original B2B warranty has expired will usually be a 3rd party company, and most of those arent worth the paper theyre printed on wxcept perhaps powertrain ones, which the LC doesnt need. The most likely failure point will be the door handles, amd I'd bet good money a 3rd party warranty wont cover those.

What year is the one youre looking at?

My credit union or CarEdge.com is where I would look for a warranty if I were to buy one.

Thro a request at a Lexus dealer or Toyota, see if they will pre/ certify. If there is an opportunity for them to make a buck and it's worth it to you, deal.
If not, I would not hold back on a purchase on an 18 and 14K miles. Again, if its worth it to you, it's a deal. Lexus, there is very little to go wrong with them anyway.
It's called doing your home work. Njoy

I had the same feeling when I bought my pre-owned 2021...with 13K miles on it. I would have liked to get a CPO. However, the LC is a very reliable car...and 13-14K miles is like new. So the risk is very low if it has a clear Carfax report (no accidents or salvage title), if you are comfortable with the number of previous owners, if you can verify proper maintenance was performed over the past 8 years...specifically oil changes. Check that the brakes have not been worn way down ( indicates how hard the car may have been driven)...and visually you can see the car was meticulously cared for inside & out.

This was my checklist... and I ended up with great car.
