Default Apple Car Play membership

So, you all that have 2019-2023 cars and use Apple Car Play are you all paying the mo fee for the app or is there a way around that? Forgive my computer illiteracy but I'm old.

It’s built into the phone. I’m only paying for Spotify music.

So it appears that only one of the 2 USB ports in the car is for apple play and the other for only charging the phone. I am glad I fiqured that out and now can enjoy using it.

You may want to consider one of those little USB dongles, which you plug into the USB port and then permits you to use the CarPlay wirelessly, as in the latest LC models?

Yeah, I’m not sure why the manual leaves that out. Only the bottom USB port works for Carplay.

That's interesting, my 2019 EU spec LC has both ports working with CarPlay
