GT GR V8 TT HYBRID
I guess we knew most of the details before-hand, but looking at the photos doesn't really make me feel anything which is unfortunate for a price point approaching $500k.
The LFA concept design looks nicer to me.

Wow. Wasn't able to watch but just landed at SFO after a lovely 14.5hrs in the air on Singapore Airlines and I am 100% disappointed with what I was able to read about the livestream.
I have no interest in buying anything that was announced.
Looks like I am gonna have to be happy with the LC.

I look at getting the GR GT and slap an F badge on it to pretend it's a Lexus. Hugely disappointed learning the Lexus version will be BEV, and calling an LFA is doubly a slap in the face.

WTF?
LFA MKII is all electric. wtf?
And a half million dollars GR with a tablet tombstone center console in the worst possible way.
Man, I’m really losing hope at Lexus. I really don’t know what my next Lexus will be.

As presented with 600 and change bhp and tq it is a 200k car at best if the rest of it is completely track spec cooling, braking, suspension etc. And even then the 0-60 #s will have to be under 3s. I don't see how that's possible with 3800lb curb weight and those #.
I'll wait for final production announcement but as it stands the LC will be my last Lexus, and potentially last Toyota as well.

“The GR GT is not an appealing design IMO. Especially at the projected price. I think we scored with our LC500's. Future classic!”
I am 100% in agreement. As time marches on more and more folks are going to belatedly recognize just how special a car the LC 500 genuinely is. As I have mentioned before Lexus got so much right with this car. Seems they may have lost some of their mojo and direction now.

So the Lexus version is (tentatively?) all electric and the Toyota version (GR GT) is a TT V8 with hybrid assist (similar to the C8 ZR1X).
YAWN city! Overly complicated setup on the GR GT massively inflating its price, and color me NEVER interested in an all electric (enthusiast
) sports car. They could sell the all electric lexus version for 60k and I still wouldnt be the slightest bit interested.
PRAYING my bespoke order gets picked up for production. If not I'll just have to "settle" for a black or grey one in inventory somewhere (because dealers and/or lexus are dumb and hardly build USB ones at all). And never, ever sell it.
Way to screw the pooch Toyoda-san.
