Default Paddle shifter noise

Has anyone heard a similar noise out of their paddle shifter(s)? My downshift paddle makes this annoying click when initially pressed if I do it from the bottom quarter part of the paddle, which unfortunately is where I do a lot of shifting from as my hands naturally fall to 4 and 8 during casual driving. If I shift from the middle or top half of the paddle, no noise. Upshift paddle is 💯 no noises any time.

Will mention at next service but wondering if anyone has come across?

I just played around with both shifters top and bottom and I don't have that click.

Yeah definitely seems abnormal since it just started and is absent on the other paddle. Suppose dealership will get a shout from me
