When I picked up my LC I pulled the windscreen out of the trunk and attached it for about 2 minutes. Couldn't handle the black windscreen with my white/blue interior so I bagged it up and put it in a corner of my garage. I doubt i ever even try it to see how well it works.

I painted the windscreen to better match my interior. And it actually works incredibly well at reducing wind in the cabin, so you might want to check it out some time. I couldn't wait to get it back in while I had it out getting painted.

And I have what may be a dumb question. I know the screen tilts back and forth, but what is the purpose of that? It still seems to be in the way of the rear window even when tilted back, so what am I missing?

It works very well. Minimal wind with the deflector in place and windows up. It's what allows me to drive with the top down at 45 degrees in the fall. Really extends convertible season for me up in New England. The LC sounds so much better with the top down (I also have an aftermarket exhaust on it).

Just the opposite for me.
Hardly ever take mine out of the car.
So much quieter and calmer in the cabin with it installed.

Try Bell Lexus—they usually offer good discounts on parts.
