Default Spacers for 2024

Starting this thread in the hopes that us 2024 owners can source how/where to buy spacers that fit this car. I do not want to buy new wheels right away but I also want the factory wheel to sit a bit further out.

The car uses a 5x120 hub (60.1mm bore) with 14x1.5mm lug bolts with I believe an R14 (can anyone confirm if it is R14 or R13?) ball seat type. I have scoured the internet and cannot find a spacer that will fit. Ideally we'd want them to hub centric but I also considered using applications for other vehicles with a hub centric ring to bridge the gap but I've run into trouble every which way.

I've found spacers for the IS500/NX etc. but they use 5x114.3 so nonstarter.

I've found spacers for German applications that use 5x120 but the hub bore is larger than 60.1 and while you could use a hubcentric ring to fit the spacer on the hub, you then would not be able to adequately seat the wheel to the spacer because the spacer would a hub bore that is too big (cannot reduce), or you would have to use a non hub centric spacer which is dangerous since the wheels are not lug centric.

Very curious if anyone knows any spacers that will fit the 2024s with the proper lug seat type and fitment.

I bought Akata 20mm spacers for both front and back; the fitment was pretty good (AK-W series)

Interesting. Are you using on a 2024?

From my understanding we cannot use the adapter style spacers because you have to seat the spacer using the lug bolt, and if you do that, then the wheel won't fit on the spacer because the bolt will stick out. How exactly did you install?

mine is a 2018.

can't speak for 2024, but you set the spacers on the hub, and the existing bolts will be seated to the spacer, and you thread the lugs that come from akata. from there, the spacer has extended bolts which you would thread the stock lugs.

it looks like these spacers can be used for 2024 according to their website, but probably best to reach out to them to confirm.

This doesn't work for 2024s becuase lexus switched from using Lug nuts that screw onto studs to using Lug bolts that screw into the hub directly

All you need are extended lug bolts for the '24s.

Yes but you have to find a spacer that fits first. I cannot find a 60.1mm center bore spacer in 5x120 that will seat a 14x1.5mm bolt. This is the entirety of my problem.

Can the pre-installed studs on the adapter style spacers be removed? If so that does solve the problem, but I've never held one of these to know if the pre-installed studs on those can be pulled out.

Couldn’t a good machine shop crank out some spacers? You might want to try one of the custom wheel manufacturers that provide spacers, as they probably already have the blanks, and expertise, to do it faster and cheaper with a custom hole size. I’m not an engineer so don’t just use my suggestion and definitely talk to someone who does this all day long.

Probably, but last I checked the custom guys will do it for like $400 for a set of 4. Honestly at that price I'll likely just wait until I get the itch to buy new wheels unless it really bothers me. Could probably resell them for a good chunk of it back easily though if there continues to be an absence of product in a few years.

That sounds about right. What do they cost off the shelf? If you’re planning on doing wheels, anyway, I’d wait and use the money to get slightly better tires.

Bon oss appears to produce legit spacers. Was in contact with them a few months ago, and they requested some measurements but at the time I didn't have calipers so I couldn't provide them any. Maybe your info will be what they need to start production.

I don't own a LC500 but I am on the waitlist at my dealer for a new MY. If you are looking for a spacer <20mm then you shouldn't need to attach the spacer to the wheel hub if you find a spacer that does not include studs. You can just sandwich the spacer between the rim and the wheel hub and get aftermarket lug bolts that are EOM length (27cm?) + the size of the spacer. For example if you get 15mm spacer then 42mm lug bolt should be mount well.

Yes the problem is finding a spacer with a 60.1mm bore in 5x120 and M14x1.5 threads. They don't exist.

What threads are you speaking of? The spacer doesn't need threads, the lug bolt just goes through the hole, doesn't screw into it.
