I have a set of Avant Garde 520Rs on the way... but while I'm waiting, I decided to try out some leftover Plastidip from another car that I was testing colors on with my stock chrome wheels. I actually really like it, and makes the wheels look bigger than they are. I don't know if it would work with other colors (maybe black) but it seems to work on the Nightfall Mica pretty well. Anybody else with gold/bronze wheels?

It takes a bit of time, but nothing crazy... few hours, half a sunday. It takes a lot of coats do make them really last so there's the drying time between each coat that makes it take a while... but I also use a heat gun to dry each coat so that cuts the time in half. Also, in this case because I knew the wheels were coming off, I did a rush job with the wheels still on the car. Just have to mask everything. For example, I did these on my 308 which I knew was going to be on for at least a couple months so I took the wheels off and did them properly. And also did all the lugnuts too to match.
I will say, the plastidip doesn't adhere to chrome as well as other surfaces so you need to really make sure the wheel has no dirt, chemicals or oils on them at all or it won't stick 100%.
Looks nice with this car color. Would you try to paint headlight silver surroundings with same color, it will complete the color scheme.
I have thought of that (as well as color matching them), but also worry that might be too much. That is one cool thing about Plastidip, if you do it right, it comes off pretty easily.
have the same AG 520Rs..love them....graphite metallic,,,I put Simoniz Glasscoat on after tire install...staying real clean and easy to wash..What widths and offset did U go with.:} kept the stock ones just in case.
I took a gamble on some Rohana RFX11's in 20" (thanks to Josh!), to hopefully maintain ride comfort and for cheaper tires. I don't know what I think yet. I'm in the process of doing a chrome delete, which should help. I also would like to drop it a bit, although in these pictures it's sitting a bit high because I hadn't moved the car since getting off of the quick jacks. I'm going to run these for a while, and maybe get some 21's, maybe even just stock wheels with spacers.
They sure look better in white here:
