I bought some Maya STM 19" wheels from LSVTEC. The transaction started with a WTB 19” wheels thread I posted. The rest was all done through PMs. I still have them all. We were supposed to meet at discount tire so I can spin the wheels before I bought. Anyway it was a 5+ hour drive one way and I got there late just after the tire shop closed. The wheels looked good and he swore they were not bent at all. I could not see any deformities. So I had a decision to make, not buy them and drive home empty handed (10 hours round trip) or take his word. I should have went home or at least stayed in a cheap hotel till morning and check them the next day, stupid on my part. Got them home had to do a lot of fender work to make them fit. Actually drove on them like a month later. Sure enough they were bent to ****. Told by 5 different good wheel shops they are not repairable. Finally found one that said they would try to make them driveable. Cost me $300 for the repair and when I got them back they still shake. After a lot of back and forth LSVTEC gave me $200 for the repair but wanted the barrels back. Then he had the nerve to try to sell me two more used barrels for like $500 extra to fix the bent ones he sold me. He’s a liar because first he said with certainty that they were not bent then later he says “well I never actually put them on my car so I didn’t know they were bent”. I looked for months all over the US for used Mayas. I fond some but they were all bent. Apparently Mayas bend easy and they have a 1 piece barrel. In the end it comes down to me needing new custom barrels made since real Maya STM are no longer made. $1000 for the two fronts from CL Member MC Wheels. For the record I am a law enforcement officer. I would not lie about this.
End of story.
End of story.
