Default New Owner - Audio Build Question

Hello fellow members. I'm new to this forum and needed some help.
Just received a 2008 IS MT a month ago. I'm looking to upgrade the sound in a non-ML system.

Thinking about putting in:

Alpine CDE-135BT (Head unit)
Alpine MRX-F65 (4-chl)
Alpine MRX-M110 (Mono)
Alpine SPR-60C x 2 (Front & Rear)
Alpine SWR-12D2

Sealed enclosure.

Question I have is about the setup.

1. How can get the system to work with stock head unit.
2. (Preferred Method) If I get a single din head unit can I bypass the stock stereo without the need for any LOC or Processors.
3. Also can the head unit sit in the glove box if anyone has done this before.

Looking to start my build soon. Just waiting to go to the states to get these items.

You can certainly bypass the stock stereo if you run separate amplifier/s and wire everything independently from the amplifier/s to the speakers: aka run new speaker wire. This is the preferred method anyway to ensure the best sound quality. You can put the headunit in the glove box but if you actually use the cd portion of the player it is much more likely to skip as you go over bumps and potholes.

Here is what I did. I used the Fly Audio gps/DVD head unit because it was more plug and play. People have had problems or is too expensive to install a double din under the radio instead of where the CD player goes.
