Man.
1st things first - I HATE that I-drive system. I would NEVER be able to tolerate the sub standard graphics and cheap feel that it has.
2nd - what a boring driving experience, I started to get sleepy! for real! It even felt faster than my 250, but man I just couldn't take how little feedback from the road i got!
3rd - The radio controls on this (I guess it was a base model) were awful! In order to switch the sat radio up or down one I had to reach over REALLY far to change it!
Point of thread: Love me my IS! Even if it sucks more in the snow than an RX

I got to use a 2010 RX as a loaner over night. I actually didn't mind it at all. It was a comfortable ride and thought everything was laid out quite nicely. As well, it felt quite luxurious and I found the space to be very good. My son definitely enjoyed the extra leg room compared to my 350

It's a different type of car in which its usage and functionalities are TOTALLY different from IS. We have both the RX and the IS-F, as well as a GS350 in the family, and I don't feel "bored" whenever I'm in the RX.
I'm not trying to be an a$$, but you should appreciate the fact that Lexus are even offering loaner vehicles to its customers.

We test drove the RX, and it's a great ride. Different type of vehicle compared to a sportier sedan with the IS. Along with that, it's not really a sport utility vehicle, the RX, but rather a luxury utility vehicle. Very functional with all around usage. It's not like driving an IS, that's for sure, but it makes for a nice ride with the luxury feel inside.

eep! Such harsh words!
I agree that the RX's target demographic is completely different from the IS's target demographic. That being said, if you love your IS (and you did excitedly proclaim that you do ), then it makes sense that the RX would not satisfy your...errr...car needs

Really enjoyed my RX loaners. Any vehicle that isn't yours will take some time to get used to. This is true going into any car you don't drive every day.
