So i brought my car to the shop, insurance paid for a little bumper repair and respray cuz i was rear ended...but i figured while i was there i would get some work done. Got my tom's rear painted and installed finally. While i was there, i also got some other work done, so i told them to paint all my emblems, and my grille surround, black, to match the black from the toms. Unfortunately the shop must've misheard me or whatever but they ended up painting all those things GFM to match my car, giving it a kinda ghost look. After looking at it for awhile I think it looks nice, but i'll let the CL nation decide. Let me hear what you guys think, or cuz i can still take it back and have everything changed to black. It's winter here in NY havent had a chance to wash yet, here are some crappy cell phone pics for now, will update with more pics tomorrow.

Definitely different, so I give you props for that.

But personally, I'd go with the black theme (for emblems at least).

 

sorry, dont' like it. looks like the shop got lazy just didn't bother taking off the emblems and painted over them like the rest of the car

 

hmm so how about, if i made the grille surround and the trunk emblems all black? because i think the GFM front emblem actually looks pretty nice...what do u guys think about that?

 

I hope people dont get confused, the shop was not lazy. They just got confused about what to match the emblems with. They thought it was either the GFM body paint or the Obsidian Black on the middle of the Toms rear.

 

I'm all for the black look, it'll look sick!

 

i think it would look better with black emblems in the back for contrast. the front would still look good if you kept it the same way since the grill is black.

 

Go with a flat black all around and on your grill.. Smoke out your taillights and reflectors and get your headlight housing painted flat black also.. lol just my suggestion

 

leave the front black for back!

in all seriousness, chrome black emblems in the back, n black grille surround, maaayyybe black chrome on the font emblem too

but i have to say A for effort !!!
