Does everyone really consider 60 and 70K high miles? I have a Mitsu Eclipse with 206,000 miles. That is what I would consider high mileage. Well, very high mileage. But 60K?
High mileage for a car that's only 5 years old at the most (2006 model). Average yearly mileage is about 12K (according to AAA), so that would mean that most ISs should be around 60K. So most of us, it's about mileage relative to how old the car is (miles per year?).

How long have you had your Eclipse?
The eclipse is an '01 model. It seems to be that average mileage is closer to 18 or 20K a year. I don't know anyone other than my grandmother that drives less than 10-12K a year. Maybe because it is Alabama. Everyone drives here, and sprawl is a problem. Most cars I see for sale have about 20K a year on them. Maybe that is why they are for sale...??
My 2006 IS350 just hit 40100 on the dot. 2nd owner. All service done by first owner. I did the recall and I'm doing the first set of new rotors and 2nd second set of pads on Saturday. The pads still have life in them but since I got new rotors. I got new brakes
What's Happening Everybody!
I'm proud to say I have exactly 151,917 miles on my 2006 IS-350 (F-Sport). I have had all recalls done. Besides that have put brakes twice a battery and plenty of tires. That's It!! This car has been amazing to me and I plan to keep her as long as she'll take the 50 mile to work and 50 mile home journey each day. Down here in Miami area.
