IS250 AWD with 45% SunTek carbon film all around + factory tint = 35% total light transmittance which is legal limit here in MA. Yes, I'd prefer it darker, but we have inspections here anually, and they WILL fail you since the inspection stations all have light meters.

35% Madico Ceramic Tint. It's a little more silver in color than I was expecting. It's also pretty reflective from certain angles.

For all those who tinted their IS: was there any special tinting procedure required to tint the IS? I saw on one thread in the care and detailing section that said the IS requires the door panels be taken off for tinting.

yes, the front door panels should be taken off as our tweeter blocks full acces to the window. the installer runs the risk of bubbles if he can't get back there. it's only 2 screws to remove, just make sure he uses protection on the door handle.

My installer was able to do the tinting without removing the door panels. He started to and then thought and said he had a squeegy that would fit back there and sure enough he did it w/out removing the door panals and over a year now... no problems / bubbles.

61% Madico Ceramic all around. Pretty good job of heat rejection from my experience. Black interior.

I just got mine re-did last week with 5% all around and 15% on the drivers and passengers window. I'll post pic when I get my rims this weekend.
