I think this was a Servco (Hawaii) car since the vin doesn't decode properly and the mileage is extremely low.
Not sure? I saw the one at Servco but it had Hawaii plates bolted into the front bumper. This one listed in Arizona does not have holes but who knows when these pictures were taken. I'm on the island right now and was going to check it out but the listing is now gone.
VIN shows destination USA and a production date of 7/13/2011 but not much else - no in service date, no color, no engine number, no accessories port installed or otherwise. Very unusual car - none of the usual details are in TIS. It did have the airbag and wiper nut recalls done 5/16/2019 at Earnhardt Lexus, so if it was a Servco car, it definitely made the trip to the mainland at some point before then.
Kind of weird the aluminum valve stem caps are missing and replaced with cheapo plastic units. Also, unlikely it's a Skippy car - the front calipers look pristine and don't have any evidence in the silver Lexus script of getting hot. Mine turned gold on my first track weekend and have been that color for a very long time now.

An oddball for sure… To my knowledge CARFAX works perfectly fine with Hawaii records…
Its a ghost IS F with NO deep history whatsoever..
Someone really interested would need to do more homework on where it’s been all this time..!!

Our DD and SLP don't recognize DOFU and other data from Servco (Hawaii) or Atkins Kroll (Guam) based vin#s. You run the vin# and shows zeros on lot of the fields.

It is all very unusual. I would expect many bidders would be conservative about their bidding unless the seller offers a legitimate explanation, or some type of documentation to explain anything outta the ordinary. U can be certain the people making comments about it will not let the seller off easy, and usually when the bidding is below expectations, the seller is forced to ckme clean. It’s better to admit to a less than ideal history than just to leave it a mystery.
Interesting point but 2012 Lexus days were made better or are quieter too me. This generation of IS's have lots of road noise and I remember the older IS's were solid, tight and quiet no creeks...
Then wife had 2014 and 2016 IS, all though it road better it felt cheapish.
So I'm interested in this one for sale guys even though I'm 6'³ I love this car.

There were incremental improvements made to each year IS F since 2008 to 2014. The last year had the best updates, 2014.
Nice car but it’s very poorly presented. **** pictures, idiotic license plate left on, interior not properly cleaned, non OEM shift **** . All minor stuff but could keep some of the BaT collector types from bidding top dollar.

@lobuxracer
So my initial thoughts are correct… This car was never sold out of original dealer inventory…
It may have come in but bypassed the normal process to be listed for sale.. It was never sold until 2021 in the USA
That’s why there is no in service date or anything normal about it. Probably rarely driven with “Dealer Plates”
Similar to some of the remaining LFA’s still inside Lexus show rooms
Basically off the grid.
