It's come to an end.
 

From 12/28/17 to 10/5/20....

Almost three years of ownership and it's soon coming to an end. I've decided to sell the IS F and move on to a different platform that was more lightweight and sporty. Went from bone stock car to a FBO within the span of ownership.
I will be having my headers and Engine mounts for sale soon, but that will be a separate thread.

Lightweight ,daily and a potent track car, no beats the Civic Type R. Spacious than the F. We just acquired the second one in our garage.

I follow your son John on Instagram! What a beautiful car!. I've already decided to move onto a Supercharged C6 ZO6, I was offered a deal by my colleague that I couldn't pass on, the CTR was one of the cars I looked at but I wanted something rear-wheel drive, and had plenty of CARB-legal mods.
We'll see each other someday!

Ah, fun cars. Which SC kit is on it? You mention CARB legal, is that the Edelbrock kit?

It's an ERL Sleeved LS7 block and completely forged rods and pistons ready for 1500hp. The Supercharger is a Procharger (can't remember on the top of my head). Edelbrock is actually not a great SC apparently according to RPM Motorsports.

From what I inspected, jt has a carb sticker on all of the parts, even down to the cam. Im tired dealing with smog and such in California.

Nice, the grandsport C7 is one on my top list, thats the important thing carb legal, Congratz!!! Where are you located? We go thunderhill. Let me know.

I'm not sure about replacing the F with a Corvette, seems like you would have a Corvette with an F on the side to drive daily.

It has always intrigued me how folks buy the IS F thinking it is the same as a small sports car.

Its a daily driveable sedan you can have some fun with here and there, but carry four passengers in.

Then again, its not about owning all the toys, its about playing with all the toys.

then its a down grade ;)

why is going to a c6 z06 considered a downgrade?
