I interpreted taking a torch to my springs as just sarcastic input, nothing more. However it is scary to think there are those that attempt that kind of thing....luckily Im cheap, but Im not easy.

I run eibach/bilstein on my Porsche and, while a completely differnt driving experience than the F, I do think its worthy of a try on the F as well. Thanks Sam, appriciate that input.

Matter of fact the input on this thread has been exceptional, appriciate the time and patience of all contributors.

I remember a neighbor who had a shop do this very same thing to his year old Supra. But it was 1983.

Eibach springs on the front ... Rear is stock springs ... I've also cut the bumb stops by a bit to front and back

That looks pretty good Sam. Im not sure if those spacers on the rear will work out on mine, I can barely get a finger between the tire and fender lip. Love that it kicked the rears out but not sure Ill have the clearance to run them...

You car looks great, and I love the fitment of your wheels 👍👌👊 if you keep your rear oem springs it shouldn't change anything as long as you dont trim your bumb stops
Your front should not have any issues .... What are your wheels specs?

I run the KW x Greddy coilovers that came with 15k/10k spring rates. Definitely made the ride a lot better than the 08 suspension and I'm lowered(slammed to be honest about it lol).

Didn't really cost much more than BC for the price I got on here from ModinJapan in the vendor section

Agree with the above. GReddy/KW from MIJ are much less than advertised MSRP and I trust KW’s valving all day compared to BC’s for the same price.

I do believe you can dial in the BC’s especially when mated with the Swift springs, but the moment you enter preload adjustability into the mix you need to be quite suspension savvy to know what you are doing.

The Greddy’s I daily two clicks from full stiff and rides great. I may go Öhlins some day but for the price I’d be tempted to go bags and it ride like a Cadillac since this car will always just be a point A to B vehicle, a fun one at least

my vote goes to kw's v3 if you are looking to improve the ride quality , they are the perfect match for the isf

Why do the greddys have lower spring rates? I would be concerned if planning to track it. I’m surprised they are so much lower than the recommended rates for the BCs.

They are more street oriented.

But on the flip side, I’ve hit triple digit speeds in corners with mine and never felt like the vehicle was unsettled or loose.

If you can afford KW V3 you won’t regret it, best mod to my F by far.

Based on your budget mentioned above, I would go with greedy/KW set.

Sorry if I missed this, but what are the spring rates for the V3? Which one is more track friendly?
