VLand headlights - projector LED
Incredible... Our hosts (CoTA, Edge Addicts, City of Austin, etc.) were impressive, even for this "automotive effluenzant" and life-long Austinite... Covid may have actually been a blessing in disguise.
Props to Rafi and Simon for going above and beyond in every way imaginable. Despite CoTA being in my backyard, I hadn't "paid to play" due to not knowing if I'd have a decently track-able F out of the shop, and then even after showing up late, an hour later I was set for lunch, a driving session, and hot lap ride-alongs in not one but several "Dream F's"... Notably, the event reinforced that what they've done for our platform is an incredible gift.... simply, inspired. Short of a buddy's P1, the laps with Rafi in R^3's Blue Devil is the most fun I've had on four wheels, period. Just... bravo.

Very informative video and I posted it in the Lexus IS F Owners page. I had some decent hopes for these headlights as I wanted something brighter than my OEM setup without sacrificing light thrown down the road and even beam patterns. I think the Vlands are a great choice for those who have beyond faded headlights or damaged (cracked, leaking, etc.) headlights.
So, due to unfortunate circumstances, my 2010 OEM headlights are at the point that it's pointless to keep trying to recondition the lenses without replacing them or buying new OEM headlights. Vlands would be my next best option as it won't break the bank. For those of you who originally had the AFS headlights and swapped to Vland, the only way to disable the original highbeam DRL so the Vland highbeams won't flicker is through Toyotas Techstream correct or is there any other way around it? This isn't really discussed much as most have the 2011 headlights.

Instead of wiring the DRL as Vland outlines in their instructions, I wired to the parking light circuit. Then pulled the AFS fuse. This way I have control over the DRL and no need for techstream changes. No flicker as parking light circuit voltage is 12V. This was also on a 2010. My observation is that Vland light output is better than the OEM HIDs.

So I’m on the fence about buying these. From what I’ve mustered up about these from watching videos, reading countless post, these aren’t as bright as the xenon HID or at best are on par and Hi beams are trash. I’m sure the 2011 IS350 doesn’t have AFS but auto leveling, would I encounter any issues? Like flickering beams or having to rewire and remap wires
Anyone else have further experience or reviews on these headlights light output? I'm getting mixed results with some folks saying they are brighter, just as bright or a lot dimmer than the OEM D4S output. I wouldn't mind getting a set of these (my OEM with AFS are faded and some condesation inside) but I would hate to lose the light output I get with the OEM HIDs.

I've I've had both the V-Land LED headlights as well as OEM HID projectors with AFS and upgraded OSRAM CBB bulbs.. If aimed properly, I think that the VLANDs are actually brighter but it's not as clean of a bright light output as a single OEM larger projector HID. By having multiple smaller LED projectors, you in a way individually see the combination of each projector emitting light on the road whereas the OEM 3-in d4s projector puts a nice smooth single beam down.
'08 IS250 with factory AFS HID.. OEM bulb on the passenger side versus the upgraded osram CBB on driver.. The CBB definitely has a brighter more intense output along with a nice cool white ice bluish color
